Transformers: Robots In Disguise – Season 3: Combiner Force To Debut This April 29th In US

The wait it finally over. Hasbro was kind to fire an email announcing the debut date of Transformers: Robots In Disguise – Season 3 (or 4): Combiner Force.

Arriving on April 29th via Cartoon Network US, the series will introduce Ultra Bee and Menasaur (No, you read it right).

The mail stated:

Takara Legends LG-46 Char (Kup) New Official Pictures – New colors

Takara-Tomy Mall site has updated the gallery for LG-46 Char (Kup) and bring us a surprise with a totally new color scheme. Now good old timer Kup shows greener colors. As you should remember, the first annocement showed Kup mostly gray as it was seen in some episodes of G1 cartoon. The figure keeps the new head and shoulders for this release. Japan Exclusive Limited Edition The Last Knight Voyager Optimus Prime Repaint Revealed

Japan (most likely from Takara Tomy) is hosting a special Transformers: The Last Knight promo campaign featuring a limited edition Voyager Optimus Prime Repaint given away for advanced tickets to the upcoming movie.

According to Snakas Blog, this exclusive limited edition repaint of the Voyager Optimus Prime features a “Shadow Spark” redeco with purple eyes and a darker paint application than the regular release of the same figure. The image (albeit small) seems to show off a movie accurate color scheme as seen on the trailers.

Such a campaign isn’t new to Japan, as G1 Redeco Movie Grimlock was given away for Age Of Extinction while Darkside Optimus Prime was given away for Dark Of The Moon.

Additional details regarding the campaign are unavailable at the moment. Check out the image, after the jump.

Transformers The Last Knight toys arrive in the UK

Smyths Toys stores in the UK are getting ready to launch the new Transformers movie line, with endcaps showing off the new line’s toys. The assortments spotted by TFW2005 member Crankcase79 included the Tiny Turbo Changers, Turbo Changers, Armor Turbo Changers, and the Premier Series Deluxes. The prices are visible on the toys, too – contrast the cost of a movie Deluxe with a Titans Return Voyager at your peril.

So far, there’s been no sighting of the Voyagers or Leaders at UK retail.

Takara-Tomy Arts Transformers The Last Knight Metal Tags

Care of Snakas and the Junfan Family Gift Model shop on Taobao, we can report that there is a series of Transformers The Last Knight metal tags coming in July in Japan from Takara-Tomy Arts. These will be offered as capsule toys, and will come in six styles: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sqweeks, Megatron, and the Autobot and Decepticon shields. They are expected to be priced at around 200 yen.

Hasbro Reapplies For Several Known Transformers Trademarks

Hasbro has reapplied for several previously known Transformers related Trademarks at United States Patent & Trademark Office.

Filed on April 13th (status date on April 17th), the trademarks are categorized under “Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms“.

And the trademarks are as follows:

Since the 10th year anniversary of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen is just two years away, we can see a justifiable reason to reapply for the Trademark.

Stealth Force was a major part of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. However, we currently have no idea regarding as to why the renewal has occurred now.

Dinobot is a fan-favorite from the Beast Wars era and given the fact that the characters are appearing on the recently released mobile game Transformers: Forged To Fight, we may see this particular character appearing in the game along with characters such as Rhinox.

The team at Space Ape have dropped by once again with another weekend update featuring two more characters, Optimus Primal and Megatron! At long last, the saga featuring the two Beast Wars leaders comes to a close this weekend as each faction will now have its first Beast Wars character in its roster!

British Board Of Film Classification has rated ‘Trailer I‘ for Transformers: The Last Knight.

Titans Return Sixshot arrives at UK and Irish retail

TFW2005 members wildfly and Farmio report that Titans Return Sixshot has finally made it to UK and Irish retail. The Decepticon six-changer has so far been sighted in Hamleys stores, for the Hamleys price of £63 – before anyone panics, bear in mind, this is Hamleys, which means that a markup is in effect and if Sixshot does make it to retail in Smyths or Toys R Us in the UK, he’ll likely carry a more reasonable pricetag. Hasbro has sent out word officially that Transformers Robots In Disguise Season 3 will air in the States on 4/29! They’ve released a trailer for the next season, check it and the details below!

ROBOTS IN DISGUISE

In 2017, Hasbro’s hit animated series, TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE will return to Cartoon Network for a third season.

Created by Hasbro Studios, the series focuses on Bumblebee as the leader of the Autobots as they seek to save the Earth from the Decepticons.

The season 3 theme is “Combiner Force” and the Autobots and Decepticons will take the battle between good and evil to new heights with the creation of Combiners – teams of Transformers who combine forces to create larger, more powerful bots. Bumblebee and the Autobot team must learn how to fight the Decepticons when combined with one another and truly work as one.

The site Forbidden Planet and ToyWiz have uploaded an interesting set of pictures and listings for Transformers: The Last Knight Legion, Deluxe And Voyager Class Wave 2. While some of the pictures have already seen before, we get some great new stock images for:

Transformers The Last Knight Optimus Prime vs Megatron Battlescene Art

Courtesy of our regular leaker at Weibo, we have with us a mysterious art work for an unknown product associated with the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline.

The image features Optimus Prime and Megatron dueling it out on a location highly similar to what we’ve seen on the trailers with planet Earth in its background.

There is also a third unidentified figure on the side of the structure just above the spot where Megatron’s blast hits.

Regarding the image, our best guesses would be a box art for a box set/play set or a store display endcap. What do you think this image is?

Anniversary Celebration Details And Transformers: The Last Knight Release Date In China

Yesterday, during the Beijing International Film Festival, Paramount Pictures chairman Jim Gianopulos stated that the company is making plans in China for the release of Transformers: The Last Knight and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the first movie.

“There will be grand celebrations to mark the 10th anniversary of the Transformers franchise in southern China’s Guangzhou city this summer,” said chairman of Paramount Pictures Jim Gianopulos.

The 6 million votes in an online poll pointed to the city of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, as the location to mark the anniversary, unveiled Jim Gianopulos, the new Paramount Pictures chairman, and Megan Colligan, the president of Paramount’s worldwide marketing and distribution at a press conference held during the 7th Beijing International Film Festival

Megan Colligan also revealed an exclusive long trailer of the new installment, “Transformers: The Last Knight,” in front of Chinese press members and guests, featuring a typical Michael Bay styled explosion and robots fight on a grand scale. The new film will arrive in June alongside its brand new edition of Hasbro toys which will hit the market since April 28.

The firth movie will also be released in the country on June 23rd along with the US release.

There is an interesting tidbit on the site which provided this news. However, there was no indication whether the statement was official or not. We’ve kept it after the jump for SPOILER reasons, never the less.

This summer, Cade Yeager, played by Mark Wahlberg, will team up with the Dinobots to solve problems, while Optimus Prime searches for Quintessons and fights against Unicron.
